ProteomEdge technology is based on qRePS™ (Quantitative Recombinant Protein Standards) — recombinant protein standards labeled with the stable isotopes ^13C and ^15N in lysine and arginine. The standards are added to the sample prior to enzymatic digestion, thereby serving as an internal reference for the entire sample preparation and LC-MS/MS analysis process. This enables the quantitative analysis of proteins using multiple proteotype peptides for a given protein. The panels are provided in 96-well plate format and are designed for the analysis of samples as small as 1 µL of plasma, which facilitates standardization of the procedure and the analysis of larger sample batches.
ApoEdge™ – Apolipoprotein Quantitative Profile
ApoEdge™ is a targeted panel comprising 18 proteins associated with lipid metabolism and transport, including APOA1, APOA2, APOA4, APOB, APOC1–4, APOE, APOH, APOL1, and APOM, among others. The panel enables multiplex, absolute quantitative analysis of apolipoprotein proteins in plasma using mass spectrometry.
This solution is used, among other things, in research on lipid metabolism, cardiovascular diseases, metabolic disorders, and biomarkers of risk for lifestyle-related diseases.
LiverEdge™ – a panel of proteins associated with liver function
LiverEdge™ covers 39 proteins associated with liver disease and enables their absolute, multiplex quantitative analysis in plasma. The panel was developed for proteomic studies related to, among other things, chronic liver diseases, fibrosis, and the search for noninvasive biomarkers of liver changes.
It can be used in biomarker projects as well as in translational research and the analysis of larger patient cohorts.
